Sky Harbor 20 Inch Transmission Main T2-T3
Arizona Fueling Facilities Corp.
SDB Civil Corporation provided complete installation, testing and flushing services for the installation of over 2,600 LF of 20" fuel pipeline at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. The project included construction of two new isolation valve pits for future airport expansion, and one new isolation valve pit for fuel flow control. The pipeline was constructed adjacent to active taxi-ways, under traffic control utilities and involved the jack-and-bore of the 20" pipeline under two active taxiways.

Range Rider Reservoir
City of Mesa
SDB Civil performed the demolition and removal of the existing reservoir in preparation for construction and start-up of a new 500,000 gallon concrete reservoir. The project called for the use of 24" water piping, vertical turbine pumps and associated piping, electrical equipment, chlorination equipment, new emergency generator and other miscellaneous site work.

Dual Water Lines
Central Arizona Project
This project consisted of complete installation of over 13,000 linear feet of 4 inch and 12,000 linear feet of 16 inch PVC waterline along the Central Arizona Project Canal. The water-line was constructed from the existing City of Phoenix Tramanto Pump station, extending along the CAP canal, across Happy Valley Road, and terminating at the Central Arizona Project corporate headquarters. SDB Civil provided complete pipeline excavation, bedding, installation, backfill and testing services.

Sky Harbor 30 MBL Tank Addition
Arizona Fueling Facilities Corp.
This project involved the new construction of an above ground fuel storage tank and all associated piping. SDB was subcontracted by POND Constructors to provide, install and test all fuel, fireline, and storm-drain piping for this new tank addition. SDB also provided all hot-tap and live fuel line tie-in's to make the tank active upon completion. The project was completed in February 2008, and was featured in Airport Improvement Magazine in October of 2009.

Apache Elementary School Bus Parking Lot
Scottsdale Unified School District
The district needed a bus lot with an increased capacity yard to serve the new bus fleet additions. The project was multi-phased so that daily bus operations could be maintained while the project was under construction. The project scope included a complete demolition of the existing parking lot and construction of a new bus yard.
